Whether you're a mom, grandpa, beginner or yoga teacher, when you hop in to a semi-private online class, you'll get customized instructions for wherever you are on your "Ma" journey.

"Ma" means mother in every language - and it's not just about becoming a mom to a baby.

It's also about learning to mother YOU. 

And when you begin to turn nurturing energy inward, you open the door to your own power and wisdom.

Designed for women's ever-changing bodies and lives in 2009, we've had more than 18,000 mamas come through our classes (and now men, kids and some dogs).

Ma Yoga classes are small, so your Certified Ma YogaⓇ teacher can find out a little about you, and then give you personalized cues for whatever's arising for you. 

Normally you'd pay hundreds of dollars for the personalized, one-on-one care we offer.

Since we're a nonprofit with a mission to provide low-cost prenatal yoga to mamas, we really appreciate your support! 🙏🏼

Each Ma Yoga live class is unique...

All Ma Yoga class are customized for whoever shows up.

Every class is safe for pregnancy and postpartum, as well as anyone else (of course, always check with your doctor before starting any new exercise program).

When you arrive, let the teacher what's arising and she'll offer a combination of the below:

Prenatal Yoga

Pregnancy can be a bumpy ride. In each pose, our expert instructors will give you simple cues so you can:

Postpartum Yoga (Babies Welcome!)

If you have aches, pains, or injuries, join Ma Yoga Founder Jessica Jennings for personalized therapy sessions combining physical therapy and yoga. 

Afterward, you'll receive your 10-minute customized healing yoga video to keep feeling better and better throughout the week.


Relax, Restore & Renew

Find deep rest with restorative yoga. Using props like cushions, you’ll enjoy gentle openings and relaxation to leave you renewed and calm.

What to expect in each Ma Yoga class

  • Classes are often 1-3 people so you'll get tons of nurturing attention 
  • Whether you're a newbie or a teacher, your Ma Yoga Instructor will guide you through a relaxing meditation, and then step by step through simple but strengthening movements with breath
  • She'll give you subtle but powerful alignment shifts to support whatever's happening in your body

How to set up for your live online class

Come as you are - messy homes and moods are fine; pajamas ok. 😊

Also, don't worry about noisy family members - you're on mute during class, and you can take breaks whenever you need to.

Here's how to set up for the best live online yoga experience:

  1. Place your mat and device on the floor, as far from your device as you can so we can see you and offer helpful adjustments
  2. Props are not necessary, but if you have them, they can help you feel more supported. Here's what we recommend for all Ma Yogis:set up for pregnancy yoga, set up from Prenatal Yoga classes instructor Jessica Jennings - prenatal yoga instructor and founder, Prenatal Yoga Certification Program
    • yoga blanket – or a big beach towel
    • two purple blocks or soup boxes
    • rectangular yoga bolster, or couch seat cushion (this is expensive but especially if you’re pregnant, save your pennies – it’s so worth it for anyone who sometimes needs a gentle, relaxing opening!)
  3. Exhale fully. We’ve got you. 💞
